Principal, Mrs. Melissa Wilson
Mrs. Wilson came to Valencia Valley in the 2023-24 school year. She has been with the Newhall School District since 2018 and this is her 27th year in education! She is a fan of all things VV and loves this special neighborhood school. She believes in the strong instructional focus of VV, the dedicated teachers and staff, supportive parents, and enthusiastic students. She is energized about the year ahead and the adventure to be had.
Assistant Principal, Mr. Michael Curry
Mr. Curry is excited to join the team at Valenica Valley. For the last four years he has served as the Assistant Principal at Old Orchard Elementary. Prior to that he was an Assistant Principal at middle schools in both North Hollywood and West Compton, and taught as a Special Education and 4th grade as a General Education teacher. Personally, Mike grew up on Long Island, New York, and went to college at Boston University. He loves playing video games and working out, but most of all he loves spending time with his wife chasing their toddler son around the park.
